To find a hot niche, I recommend people to do the following:

Go on many forums and look at the threads. If there is a lot of recent activity, that is great. Read all the topics to see what people are talking about. Tally these things into a word document on your computer to keep record. Set your mind frame in the state of helping others to solve their problems. Do research and think of what you can do to help others.

Look at all the subject lines in your spam mail. No, don't open them, just read the titles. Keep record of these as well. These could be a great indication of what is hot.

Cruise the web to see what is hot. Just surf because you never know what you'll find.

Look at the news headlines.

i have done these things, and they have worked so well for me. It is better to look around to see how you can meet the demands of others before you waste time and money in a product that will only be a.bom rather than a .com. I hope these suggestions help you. good luck.
