No experience with Intermedia but I've had amazing success with GoDaddy's hosting reseller program (Wild West Domains). The nice thing about hosting reseller programs is that the residuals can really add up. I've racked over 7,000 customers in 4 1/2 years and make good $$ just on the residuals alone.
Intermedia looks to have the same kind of perks, although I'm not too familiar with their program.
