Good job Didi,
Nice little niche and I like the soft earthones too.
Important suggestion. Pretend you are shopping and have never seen your site. You are looking for Cats Door Stops. The stuff I'm door stops I'm looking for are below the fold and you may not scroll down if you don't see what you are looking for right away. I think shoppers like to see product pics.
If you are looking for Cats Door Stops you see a couple on the right above the fold but those arent contextual and don't show me what I"m looking for.
Do you think you'll make more on Adsense or Ebay?
If it were my site I think I'd put the top Adsense on the right sidebar so the category products are up above the fold. Get the category pics up there so they see what they are looking for and it will help get them to scroll down til they see something they like.
If I pretend I'm shopping and not that savvy - I don't realize the product name is clickable cuz the color is plain black and it does not look like a link. (Notice the Adsense ads and sidebar auctions all have unlined links making it more obvious you can click for more info.) I'd make product titles blue underlined or maybe Orange to go with your earth tones. You may also want to add a "more info" link under the product title.
So I see one that looks cute. The only obvious options are "Place a bid" or "Add to watch list". Well I don't have enough info to want to buy it yet. I need to maybe see a close up, see how big it is or see what material its made of.
You need to make it OBVIOUS and easy for me to click so I can get more info and let the auction page sell me. You also need to get me to click through so I get cookied. Your job is not to close the sale but to get me to click through to the merchant or in this case, the auction.
If this was a computer page it may not be as critical. I assume middle aged women would be a big % of the customers interested in these. Some may not be super techy, so K.I.S.S.
I'm no expert at page design or usability. So this is only my opinion.
But it's based on pretending I'm a potential buyer so that's my long winded 2 cents!
