RESPONSIBILITIES

ClickSpeed is seeking an experienced search engine optimization specialist to manage ongoing SEO. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with search engine optimization projects and a proven record of success with competitive search terms on all major search engines.

• Responsible for achieving top rankings in organic search results across multiple industries

• Create and manage organic search engine optimization strategies based on proven tools and techniques

• Consummate learner; staying current with latest technologies and optimization techniques to achieve success.

• Present ideas and challenges to management, work with the technical group to implement solutions

• This position also requires leading or assisting in the development of SEO/SEM staff and ongoing SEO instruction and support. You will be responsible for disseminating best practices and fielding questions for special projects.

• This position is located in our headquarter office in Overland Park, KS. Relocation assistance available for the right person.

Qualifications/Requirements:
• 2+ years direct Search Engine Optimization experience, preferably with a search marketing firm
• Proven track record of successful SEO strategy and implementation
• Experience with SEO keyword research and development
• Knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking strategies
• Cursory knowledge of HTML, Java Script, and Flash
• Thorough understanding of “white hat” optimization tactics and how to implement
• Experience with meta content creation and keyword based writing

Desired Skills include:
• Excellent verbal, quantitative and presentation skills
• Familiarity with paid placement (AdWords, Yahoo) a plus
