Hi Rifinder,

The affiliate gets credited for the sale in 3 ways:
- website redirect (cookie based) - the affiliate place a link towards any page in the vendor's site and gets the commission for any sales (including repeated sales) during 120 days period
- product purchase from the vendor site (120 days cookie), if the visitor followed a link from the affiliate site
- direct purchase from the affiliate site
