VERY well stated and nicely written. I agree whole-heartedly.
I was in sales for 15 years and my bosses could never figure out how i could be top rep and earn bonuses and win sales contests when I NEVER EVER asked for the sale or tried to close the sale. It drove them mad!
I never sold anyone anything. I acted like a consultant.
