I too have a few years in sales, and the one thing i found to be succesful for most salesreps. is to only provide answers to what you are asked. It's never good to spill the beans and start spouting off too much, because sometimes too many answers can scare people away. Usually all the customers want are answers to how the product can and will benefit them.

You can definitely apply this concept to your site banners too by adding just enough content to make your visitors want to click and read further. It's after they click that the company you are advertising for should have proper content to help close the deal.

Some advice for affiliates, work with the companies you are advertising for if you need help with content, for they should be willing to assist or provide.
