Default Definitive truth series feedback

Hello

Your site needs a lot of work, however with a few sites i have seen like yours; you have a good framework to build on.

Your content is good, not sure about strength of keywords, meta tags etc, and the navigation titles you have are also good. Your site lacks design.

You have an ok logo; you can use the colours from this to influence your site design. If you are not the best with photo shop and design in general then my tip would be to use free imagery as a way of presenting the ‘wow’ factor that the viewer see’s at first glance. For instance, find some free imagery from sxc.hu of thin people looking happy, next to them put some weight loss pills or bottles of water and behind both of these, keep the pale purple box you have but maybe make it so it fades into a deeper purple.

You could then italic the ‘The Definitive Truth Series’ tag and maybe make a copy of it, flip it vertically and fade it out so it looks like it has an reflection.

With the navigation, maybe split the actual headers up from the rest by putting a darker colour behind them and maybe make the text a bold white.
I would add some imagery into the content and change the font colour and size. The size you have suggests it is more of an advertisement graphic than an informative website.

Maybe take a look at some web template sites for some inspiration.

Just remember a website does not have to be so square and generic. Play around with imagery, bring the header into the content and vice-versa, use swirls or curves to dictate where you want the reader to read.

I am sure that this site will become very good, you have a good solid structure; it just needs a big face lift in terms of its design.

Good luck
