Default Some small tips for you

Hi

I have designed many deal finder affiliate sites in the past ad there are a few tips i think you would welcome.

Firstly, the navigation on the site is best to feature on the left of the site running vertically. This is due to the fact that 75% of sites use a vertical left nav and web shoppers then become used to this. Therefore your top nav running horizontally may not get as noticed as you wish.

Secondly, the content area should be the most prominent area of the site, due to the fact this is where the ‘deals’ are placed and these are what you want the visitors to click on. Good ways of ensuring the content stand out are to use background colour on the website and ensure this colour is quite dark or uses a gradient.

Thirdly, the deals should be separated from each other so that on the initial view it does not look like one large content area. If the deals are separated by approximately 10px it will ensure the viewer reads the deals individually and not as one block.

Hope these small tips are of some help.

Good luck
