Dreamweaver has to be the king of all editors!!

I know i have read posts where there opinions are different however belive me, i have used dreamweaver for over 5 years, been an experienced web designer for 2+ of these and would never recommend an alternative.

All design companies, web companies offer dreameweaver as the html editor. Very few offer an alternative although i am speaking from UK.

For newbies to html, if you have every placed tables in Microsoft Word then building a site in dreamweaver is a very similar process. you have an option of design view, code view or split which is ideal for beginners, as they can select design view and not get lost and frustrated within the code.

A big thumb up for dreamweaver.

P.S Dreamweaver CS3 is not as good as MX2004 or 8. Preferenced automatically fix any flash include or flash object to enable it to be web complient. This then causes issues with firefox so you have to edit the flash script and remove noscript tags it puts into place for you. A very annoying feature!!
