Thanks Linda .... for me it just finished... lol... I just stopped eating!
When you cook-up one of the big birds and you are eating with a small crew - it lasts all week! Now that I have fully finished and experienced a Canadian Thanksgiving I can share my views .

We celebrate with an adopted family here, considering most of the family is in OZ . However it is truly a fun affair!

From what I have experienced so far it is similar to the American one, how is your experience Linda, with your thanksgiving coming up what do you like to do?

Canadian's have it earlier as its focus is on giving thanks to the harvest and because the winter comes sooner than the folks south of the border, that means the harvest time is earlier.... if any other Canadian forum members can add some extra stories about thanksgiving in Canada would love to hear it!

Being an outsider coming into thanksgiving it is a lovely celebration of sharing and appreciation with people that are in your life.

It is a also a great practice run for Christmas... stretching the tummy muscles to eat all that delicious food and to put you in good spirits for the festive season.
