marketraise001 there is no one here condeming you, and the older more experienced people know that you are new to SEO by your post. This is not a bad thing if you use control. I understand hat you are trying to build credibility for your new choosen profession and i can relate to the struggles of just starting out. I , as many have been there.

What you need to do is look at this in a different manner. you are still new to this and have not had time to test all of the theories from webmaster world, seo round table ect...

Until you test something, you can not afford to assume it as fact and keep repeating it without testing it. This will cause you to lose a business i am sure you want to succeed. There are no excuses when you tell a customer you can produce and they are paying you. Well, this forum and others can give your business a bad name by following the crowd. just as you noted in this post. you have to step away from the crowd. and following theres places will cost you much. you can take the information there and then test it and draw your own conclusions.

Much of what is put out is marketing schemes by some brilliant marketers. The Duplicate content theory is one of them, and now they have the net in a frenzy, Ghost writers have increased their income because of this.

Sales of article spinners have gone up 2000% or better and this is because people put out bad information.

You do not ever have to worry about changes in the algorithmns if you play it smart and stick to the basics.

Fancy information is useless to the people of new forums because you have to understand basic principles before you can understand advanced information.

Let me give you an example with the information on alexa. I can go spent 400 bucks on pop unders and get an alexa ranking of under 10000 in 30 to 60 days on a new site. This is misleading because it is useless traffic. But a good marketer can use this useless traffic to his/her advantage if they are smart because people talk of the importance of alexa. Here is how you do it and create the "Buzz".

Once you get an alexa of 300, 000 you can start a PR campaign with press releases and articles touting the massive flow of traffic from a brand new website. this give the impression of it being a new web wonder and can start massive traffic due to social conformity. It is the illusion of popularity and this created a following by assuming that a particular site is "HOT"!

So, now you see hopw they are even using YOU to concrete their marketing plan.

The people here are also trying to make their mark on the net just as you are. Remember that Rome was not built in a day. Take your time, test, and understand fully why there is diverse and mostly inaccurate information put out on the web. this will keep you from feeling like you are alone.

SEO and marketing is not hard. it is and will always be a simple process because that was the initial design.

If you notice, the changes in algos, they are targeting cheaters. not the honest SEO or marketer.

Hope this helps
