I am sure CPA is great for some programs but lately I wouldn't touch most of them with a 10ft pole.
CPA is more like the holy grail for spammers that will lure unsuspecting consumers with those bogus freebie offers.
This is my view on most of the CPA campaigns I see:
Oh here fill out this short form and we will send you a free xbox!
Ok, thanks for filling out the form, but wait... you have to complete 3 of the follwing 100 offers on the next 10 pages or you can't have it...
Don't want to do all that or actually spend 5x as much money than you would if you actually went out and just bought the Xbox yourself? That's OK, don't... but now we at least got your mailing address and email address so we can sell your info on our mailing list and spam you for the rest of your life... And to top it off we got your info for free because we didn't have to pay for your lead since you didn't make it to the final page.
