looking at Web sites
As a merchant, I review lots of applications everyday on Commission Junction. For my products, in particular, it is necessary that I review each and every Web site provided. I determine if the site is of good quality, if the site has content which will attract customers that will purchase my product.
I really wouldn't say you needed to 'trick' your merchants into accepting your application; you just need to submit a relevant and high-quality Web site.
Also, many merchants may have obligations which require them to deny you based on location. I have one state out of 50 that we cannot do business with. So, even though a publisher with a high-quality site comes to me, and their site is based in the above mentioned state, I must deny them. But not before telling them why FIRST. That is just an ethical thing to do.
