Brightest New Star Award - New Member of the Month Award
We want to start recognizing
new members that make a positive impact on our community - within the 1st couple months they join. The goal of this contest is not only to recognize their contribution but also to help attract more of the type of members we are looking for - those that give their knowledge and support to help our members and the community at large.
We already have the MVP contest, to recognize the Most Valuable Poster of the month, which typically goes to an oldie, so this new award is to recognize those "new stars" that join and start off posting with a bang!
You don't need to do anything special to qualify for this contest.
IF YOU ARE A BRIGHT NEW 5 STAR MEMBER that makes outstanding posts, for the right reason - to help our community - we'll see and acknowledge you!
The Bright New Star Award will simply go to the person each month that we think stands out as a good contributor, insightful poster, helpful NEW 5 Star member. You won't need to do anything special for this - except be a committed poster! There will be no vote, it will simply be the members over the course of each month that we think deserves recognition.
CONTEST RULES:
Really there arent many, this will be very informal at this point and we might make up more rules as we go along.
Some time after the end of each month we will announce the winner for the previous month. We look at members who have joined within the last couple months. Some months there could be no clear winner and we reserve the right not to award one.
This isn't like a contest anyone should be TRYING to win. We want to reward members that are just naturally committed to 5 Star and to helping our members, not someone just trying to win a contest.
The winner will get a
Brightest New Star custom title to wear for a month or til the next winner is selected, plus will get a strong mention and show of support in this thread.
