Most people would be impressed with the Los Angeles Film School homepage as well as the National Geographic home page. They were the Webby Award winner and the People's Voice Award winner.
Three other great homepages (home pages) were nominated. They might give you a few good ideas. Of course you shouldn't copy them. These three are also very impressive.
