Affiliate Networks are like cars - they all have their pros and cons, the best one pretty much depends on the person's needs and everyone has their own favorite.
To a large degree the network to go with depends on which one has the type of merchants or offers you need. Most pro affiliates partner with the top 3 or 4 networks. I think n00bs should stick to 1 or 2. 2 others to consider:
Lots of affiliates seem to prefer Shareasale due to their integrity and I like that network a lot. However they don't have hardly any of the big brands and cater more to smaller merchants, so depending on what you need, there is a chance it won't be available on this network.
Google Affiliate Network, which used to be Doubleclick Performics is growing in popularity and has a lot of the major brands and hundreds of merchants in different niches the network is also a 5 Star program.
