gillisani, you probably misunderstood something that you read.

If you take a look at the right sidebar you will see listings under:
Featured 5 Star Programs and 5 Star Programs

Those companies are paid 5 Star clients who receive a number of benefits and services for being 5 Star clients.

However we do have a free forum where merchants and affiliate managers may post about their affiliate program, provided it meets the rules and they follow the rules. It is very important that you read the rules for that forum before posting in order to see if you are eligible for posting and to make sure that you follow the rules if you are eligible to post.

The forum is our Affiliate Program Announcements Forum. Here is a link to that forum http://affiliate-marketing-forums.5s...announcements/

Here is a link to the rules for that forum Important Rules - Read Before Posting - No Network Ads

Yes Larry is right. That forum is free to announce an affiliate program.

I think maybe what you saw is the 5 Star News forum. It says don't post here unless you are a client and that section is reserved for 5 Star clients that pay a monthly retainer for advertising, promotion, recruiting and PR.
