Meet the 5 Star Pros

We just started a new member recognition program and this one is designed
to help all of our 5 Star members.

If you see members with a 5 Star Pro title under their username, that means
it's a member that we personally know or that has been a member of the forum
for quite some time, that is a specialist, guru or PRO in a specific area of expertise.

The title will also designate their area of skill so it's obvious to members who don't know them,
what they are experienced at. So you'll see titles like Pro Affiliate, SEO Pro, Blogging Pro, etc.

These are also members that we feel have high integrity and when they post, post for the right reasons - to help others - and generally offer especially good advice.

There will be very few 5 Star Pros, so when you see one post you can feel pretty certain
that's a post you want to pay attention to!

We are starting off with three 5 Star Pros. Since they are each very special in their own way,
we'll be announcing each one individually and letting you know a little about their background.
If and when we add other Pros, we'll announce them in this thread too.

I'll let Larry announce the 1st 5 Star Pro. Pro #1 gives us all invaluable, in-depth info
about SEO and unselfishly shares his expertise on a regular basis with other 5 Star members.

Jim AKA jcorkern has the title of SEO Pro

Jim goes out of his way to be helpful to our members by providing very insightful posts.

Jim has made it into our Hall of Fame a few times with some outstanding posts.

Jim has also been a winner of the 5 Star MVP (Most Valuable POSTER) Award

I asked Jim to provide some information about himself for this announcement. Here are his words:

I am self taught. I am an average person with nothing but a high school education. I started in the early 2000's doing seo. I have taken several companies to several million dollars per month in gross revenues, some over 4 million dollars per month and more.

I am a single, 40 years old with 3 kids. 2 boys and one girl. Daniel 11, Emily 9, and Matthew is 5.

I believe that attitude counts more than a lack of or great training. The internet is the last place that the average person can make it big without credit, resources, cash, or a degree of any kind.

I truly believe that wealth is thoughts, not things. The reason for this is that if I lost everything I have today, I would have it back in 3 years or less. It is not the skills, because anyone can learn the skills needed, but the thought patterns are what makes you reach your dreams.

There is nothing original about me. I am a follower of the real leaders, like Ben Franklin, Henry Ford and Zig Ziglar.

All of these people taught by example, not just words. Zig Ziglar is one of the greatest examples with this quote. "You can have anything you want as long as you help others get what they want." And I believe this.

The other is: "The will to win means nothing, but the will to prepare to win means everything."

Jim (jcorkern) explains, and answers Search Engine Optimization (SEO) questions in an easy to understand manner.

Our 2nd 5 Star Pro is a Pro Affiliate and Blogger extraordinaire.

His name is Andrew Wee. Andrew joined the 5 Star forum a little over a year ago, but I've known him for quite some time. I asked him to tell us a little about himself...

I have been in portal development since 1997 for one of Asia's largest media groups. Since then I've been conducting training and consulting for merchants, networks and affiliates since 2006.

I blog regularly at WhoIsAndrewWee.com and have a Friday Podcast radio show every Friday where I interview affiliates, internet marketers, merchants, networks, service providers...folks involved with internet marketing and/or affiliate marketing.

I speak at events like Affiliate Summit and the Facebook Developers Garages.
