Larry passed away suddenly without warning yesterday. I just found out after sending the St Louis police to his home to check to see if he was OK. I called the police to check on him after becoming worried because he never misses work and because he sounded very ill the last time I talked to him. They aren't sure what happened, but assume his heart gave out. Must have been too many fried spam sandwiches. (An inside joke that will make Larry chuckle if he's up there reading this.)

Larry has worked for me 365 days a year for almost 3 years. Never took a sick day - in fact never missed a single day - not even Christmas. He worked tirelessly around the clock here at the forum and literally never needed to sleep.

He was my right hand man and is responsible for many of the improvements around here that helped this forum to grow. I know he has personally helped many of the members here, as well as generously giving out mod slaps whenever they were needed.

I can't begin to tell you how loyal he was to this forum and how important it was to him to be sure the forum was well run for the benefit of the you guys, the regular members.

I'd like to give a heartfelt thanks to Larry for all he's done
for me personally as well as for everything he's done for this forum.

Larry, you will be missed!

I will miss Larry's little quips in my PM box.

That plus I just enjoyed chatting with him.

Oh No. I was logging into this forum after a long time. I can't believe I am reading this. May Larry's soul rest in peace.

I remember quiet a few personal interactions with Larry myself. He was undoubtedly the best forum admin I've ever met.

May god bless his soul, and help his family get by this unfortunate incident.

I First knew about it on the geekvillage. nevertheless I am rather new to this forum, Larwee made an impression of a very helping person. It was quite a shock to know about this...

My Condolences!
I havent been on the forum for a while, and I noticed there was a new admin in town, so I had to do a bit of reading!
Larwee helped a lot of people, he will definitely be missed in the forums.
