Please Use the New THANKS Button

minstrel (David), our administrator just installed a new feature I want to get people in the habit of using. The Thanks button.

Sometimes people just post a short thank you and it clogs up the forum and makes it hard to read when you have to skip over all the thank yous. Plus sometimes spammers just post short one-liners like "thanks for the post" just to get sig views.

So we won't allow thank you posts any more.
You need to use the thanks button on the bottom right of every post.

I'll add a thank you to this post so you can see how it looks.

OK that was me that sent the thank you above. (It would not let me thank myself (smart)
so I had to log in with my test account.)

So that's how it looks when you want to thank someone. It shows your name with a link to your profile - so people know you appreciate it.

Feel free to use the thank you button if you read this just to try it out.

You'll also notice that once you thank someone for a post the "Thanks" button disappears. You cannot "thank" the same post twice.
