I think it would be a good idea to bring this thread back to life again since it has been almost six months since the last suggestion was made in this thread.

Do you have any ideas or suggestions for 5 Star. If so, please post them in this thread.

There is always room for improvement. This is your forum. Let us know your ideas or suggestions.

Hi hi...
In my personal view, it would be great to see if you can have a thread just for Beginners. Like a Step by Step start to Internet Marketing.
For me, I do not know alot of terms & how it works & what is SEO,Feed,etc. I read and then try to understand.

Personally, I am reading here & there to make up the whole picture how it is suppose to be done.

Foy my personal understanding so far, below is the step I follow.
1) Have a website/blog.
2) Bring Traffic to ur site. (submit thru SEO)
3) Earn income thru affiliate marketing/own pdts, etc
4) Update site/Send emails
5) Wait for income. :P

This is just a gist of it that I understand so far.
But I still at a lost. Still trying to pick up alot alot before making a decision.

There already is a lot of information here for beginners. But we could work on ways to make it easier to find or possibly put a lot of it in one place. We will look into this.

THanks KKM, really good idea. I've been trying to put some of the best sticky threads back up to help newbies. I wish there was an easy step-by-step that would work for everyone but there isnt and if I ever could find the time to write a book about it I would probably sell it!

We will try to work on organizing get started info. I recently saw a step-by-step very basic guide to getting started with CJ, but I didn't bookmark it. Will try to find it I'm sure it was in my RSS reader. I was looking for something to blog about and thought it was too basic, but in thinking back I should have written about it here. I think it was a perfect get-started piece.

Yeah. I learnt alot from this forum which is great for me. Perhaps I am really very new to this, and I took sometime to look through all the info.

I would buy the step-by-step book if its from you.

If you have any links on the basic guide from CJ, let me know. I am keen to read more.

Good news. There is going to be a lot more than just a thread for beginners. We are going to be adding an entire new forum for newbies and it will be real soon. Everything for beginners all in one forum. We feel it will be very helpful and make things a lot easier for newbies.

As promised we just added a Newbie Affiliate Forum

We added this forum to try to make it easier for newbies to find info about how to get started and to find out basic info about affiliate marketing.

We also hope that by separating out this section it will make it easier for mid level and advanced affiliates to find topics of interest to them, without having to scan through newbie threads.

When in doubt about whether to post your topic in the newbie or general forum, just use your best judgement, keeping in mind this section is for how to get started or what is affiliate marketing type questions.

As with the other discussion areas, affiliate links and self promotion are not allowed.

PROS - Please pop into the n00b forum and answer questions from time to time.
Remember when you were new and confused???
People helped you learn the ropes right?

Larwee has already done a great job of moving all existing posts for newbies to that section so it will be easier for you to find questions and answers about how to get started, all in one place!

Glad you like it. Larwee really did an excellent job finding all the best threads for that section. We really should have added it awhile back and I've been thinking about it for some time, but we got to the point where it was really a necessity.
I think this will really help our members, newbies and pros alike!
