5 Star New Logo & Site Re-Design - FEEDBACK???

We have been working on a new logo and site re-design for 5 Star. One of the biggest companies on the planet will be launching with 5 Star in Oct and there will be quite a bit of buzz and PR about this major industry announcement, so I'm hoping to have the new site up by then.

The site re-design goal is to be clean and more modern - dare I say Web 2.0 or is that too passe now?

Here is a VERY rough draft of the new look for the blog. The rest of the site and forum will follow suit.

We start final design phase on Friday and will be making more tweaks,
but I'd love to hear feedback or suggestions if you have any.

I love it! Very professional, very slick, and very memorable. It's less, um, "cartoonish" than the predecessor.

Sure, it looks "Web 2.0." But whether it's web-2-point-0-ish or not, or that it's passé, it doesn't matter. The new logo is a clean design and conveys credibility and professionalism through and through.
