dreamnow, you asked Linda but I'll give you an answer.
Some people will look at this and think that dreamnow already knows how to start a new thread since this is a new thread. But the post was in another thread that had been started by someone else. I moved the post here and started a new thread for dreamnow because the question asked had nothing to do with that thread.
There are a number of ways you could start a new thread. I will give you one way.
Start at the forum homepage. Here is a link

Next find the forum that would be most appropriate for what you want to say. It might be the Introduce Yourself Forum or the Newbie Affiliate Forum or another forum.
Just for this example I'll use the Introduce Yourself Forum. You just click where it says "Introduce Yourself - We're Friendly"
Next you scroll down the page while looking on the left side on the page. At the end of the entire list of threads on that page you will see "New Topic" in the left corner. Just click on that.
When you do that you will see "Post New Thread"
Under that you will see Title. You give your thread a title by typing it there.
Under that there is a box where you type what you want to say.
When you finish you scroll down just a little and you will see "Submit New Thread." You click that and then you have completed the process.
I gave the Introduce Yourself - We're Friendly as an example. The same would be true with any forum here. You would just select the forum that you think is most appropriate for what you want to post.
