Ha, lol. You always call me ayushpant, and I always wondered why. So, I finally said it one day. Anways Linda, I am very glad to be back on your wonderful forum.

I really used to enjoy my time here, and I hope that I can learn something new everyday by being here and try and contribute whereever I can.

I didn't mean to deviate from the original topic. I hope that you get some more excellent replies from 5 star members. And, I will try and think about something else and try and post tomorrow. Lets see. Take care, and thanks for replying.

I have been thinking about it and it's not that easy to come up with something.

Nevertheless, i have an idea that i wanted bring forward and i may post some follow ups later on if something comes to mind.

5 Star Affiliate Marketing Forum: Affiliate WordPress Starter Kit

1: WordPress Theme: Specifically designed to start affiliate marketing campaigns and created as such to easily integrate products and descriptions and SEO friendly affiliate url thus with redirects and blocked out by robots.txt

So you only need to change the header, pictures and descriptions of products.

Sorry for the delayed response. I read the post earlier but did not have an idea that would have been worthwhile mentioning.

I hope you didn't hit the 5,000 members yet, but it does not really matter actually, because it is not necessary to do it right when the 5000th member signed up. If you have the ability to determine the signup date of every member, a graph that shows the member growth of the forum would be nice.

In that graph highlight the 1000th, 2000th,... 5000th member by showing their forum user name and avatar. This will also give something special to the older members that hit a 1K milestone.

Inviting all member to have a party is a bit too much I guess unless Linda has a lot of money in reserve with the label "to spend on parties"

A press release might also be in order and maybe a special forum header to celebrate the event. When was the forum created btw and when is the next "round" aniversary? Lets make it 5 year steps (e.g. 5th, 10th, 15th), because five years online are more than a decade in the real life.

I like the path of least resistance, so the ebook idea could be members contributing anything from 400 words to 2 pages of content.

if it's deemed fit to print, we could easily have a 10-20 page ebook out, till a max of 100pages?

I'm keen to see what JamieF has to say....and it might even be dancing related too!

Carsten Cumbrowski had a few interesting thoughts.

We haven't reached 5,000 members yet but we are very close. At the time I'm typing this we are at 4,990.

Yes it is possible to determine when each member joined, so based upon what Carsten said I have quickly put together something that shows the growth.

Great suggestion on the milestones Carsten and THANKS Larry for putting those together!

FYI everyone, I get so busy that I'm really bad about noticing milestones and remembering to come up with contests or anything for them. So it's Larry that keeps me on my toes. I think he started encouraging me 4 months ago that we were coming up on 5,000 and should start planning what we were going to do.
He's so detail oriented and I'm so bad... or busy... or both!

Anyway, it's great to hear everyone's ideas and so good to see those growth numbers. Helps me realize how far we've come in such a short period of time!
