Ok we're at 4,970 now. Only 10 to go until we cut off this contest.

We've gotten 10 new members between yesterday and today so there's a good chance you only have one day left to enter. Then we sit back to see who wins.

FYI someone Dugg this contest thread and told people to join and make some easy money. That won't work, because we made a rule that you have to have been a member prior to the contest start date. We did that to ensure one of our existing members would win and not some drive-by contest junkie.

My point is - getting the next 10 members could happen really fast due to something like the above, or getting the next 10 could be slower due to the impending Holidays, so DON'T WAIT. I'd hate to have one of our regulars miss the boat.

Clarification of ayushpant (Ayush) guess.

The rules state the following:

(so figure it accordingly)

The guess made was

In order for that entry to be consistent with the others and within the rules of using forum time, which is based upon the forum headquarters in California and using Pacific Standard Time (PST), the guess for member must be considered as the following rather than what is written in the post which used Eastern Standard Time (EST):

We have now reached 4,980 members. The contest has ended as stated in the rules. This thread is being closed so that no other guesses may be posted.

When we reach the 5,000 members milestone the date and time it happened will be posted in this thread. Later the names of the 2 winners will be announced in this thread and the thread will once again be opened.

Congrats to the 2 lucky winners. WHEW! It was a close call!
