Good morning,
Affiliate marketing can be done on a number of levels! The right one to follow is the one that works best for you.
If you're comfortable with sending email and participating in forums and the like, you can append affiliate links to your signature when sharing valuable information.
If your Internet experience is MySpace.com or another social networking site instead, you can weave in affiliate links to your profile.
If you enjoy writing commentary in a blog, you can create a niche blog in which you review targeted affiliate products.
But! If you expand your comfort boundaries another notch, you can create your own resource center on your own website and embed affiliate links in that fashion.
You can start an ezine and occassionally review affiliate products for your readers.
You can even buy a domain and simply have that point as a redirect to an affiliate program.
But that being what it may....it still leaves the question.
With what are you the most comfortable?
I could tell you in great detail how to autoblog and incorporate affiliate links in that manner...but if you're not of a bold and daring techie bent, such knowledge would be useless.
I could tell you how to write and publish an ebook that contains affiliate links...but if that's not your forte, again, the information is less useful than teaching a toddler how to master calculus.
The nifty thing about affiliate marketing, I think, is that it can be applied to all levels of computer expertise! But it is up to you as the consumer to determine what will work best for you...and then build upon it as you go.
