I am very fascinated by search engines and I spend a lot of time with them. I enjoy new search engines and taking a look at their features. Often these new, small search engines come up with features that are later adopted by the major search engines.
There is a search engine by the name of Surch. The first thing that comes to mind is that a very good name has been selected for a search engine. I've been experimenting with Surch for a couple of months.
Surch has a nice layout and some good features. It has basic search as well as search for news, video, images, audio and more. I've been getting fairly good search results on the searches I have conducted. Your experience might be different depending on the searches you make.
