As Linda said, this can sometimes be a good merchant who just let something slip. But a very large percentage of the good merchants use the automatic deposit.

I have seen some merchants who slip into the 'low funds" on a regular basis. You might want to stay away from them.

Sometimes a merchant will be listed as "low funds" and a few days later that merchant will be shown as "temporarily offline."

There are many very good merchants at Sharasale. It would be best to not go with those that are shown with "low funds" and select others instead.

If you have an interest in a particular merchant shown as "low funds," you might want to watch that merchant for a good while to see how things go with it over time, just in case it was one of those times where they just neglected to take care of things that they should have. But often, "low funds" can serve as an early warning.
