Internet Marketing Manager, Baltimore, MD

- Work with manager and vendors to generate efficient volume through search engine optimization, online media buying, email marketing, internet cross-sell and innovative partnerships and programs designed to increase site visitors and online applications
- Actively test ad creative, keywords and landing page designs to improve volume and efficiency. Conceptualize, implement and report on ongoing testing strategies across all sources of Internet acquisition business.
- In coordination with our vendors, develop copy and creative for emails, landing pages and banners
- Ensure timely/accurate performance reporting of all Internet marketing initiatives. Manipulate data and optimize/grow results based on findings.
- Help in the management of a creative agency by tracking and processing invoices and assisting in the management of the channel budget
- Work with the Web vendor in order to create media codes, vanity URLs, and other media tracking elements
- Stay abreast of research industry best practices and report on competitive activities

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree required
- 3-5 years of direct experience in online marketing
- 5-7 years of overall work experience in marketing or related field
- Strong grasp of Internet technologies and the various online acquisition channels including search engine marketing, email, affiliate programs and media buying
- Detail-oriented, organized with the ability to manage complex projects
- High comfort level with excel and the ability to use analytical thinking and tools to guide marketing tactics
- Highly-energized and creative thinker
- Ability to stay on task and thrive in a dynamic and constantly changing environment. Ability to reprioritize as necessary in order to meet last minute deadlines required
- Top-notch relationship, communication and presentation skills including the ability to meet and present to senior-level audiences, be credible and inspire confidence
- A positive attitude and a passion for the Internet
