Well without further ado, I'm very happy to announce our brand-new coupon system! We've had request after request for coupons that our affiliates can use and we've worked tirelessly to make this a reality. Our site has been updated, new coupons have been added, and we are ready to roll!

Below, I have included the first batch of coupons that we have inputted into the system, more than 60 of them! As we speak, we are adding more coupons and will continue to do so as they become available. If you would like to download the entire list as a CSV file you can do so here (http://affiliate.thenerds.net/coupons/coup_082806.zip). Note that the links in contained in the CSV contain the !!USERID!! variable that you must replace with your SAS affiliate ID for them to be valid.

We are currently working on getting a "Coupon Data Feed" up and running to automate this process, as well as an RSS feed to disseminate this information. I will let everyone know when these are both functioning.

I hope that this email finds everyone healthy and well rested coming off of the long, Labor Day weekend. I know I tried my hardest to relax, but with all of the great things going on with TheNerds.net Affiliate Marketing Program, I just couldn't wait to get back to the office (I know, it's sad).

With the beginning of the month behind us, we have officially started tallying sales for our Cayman Islands Give-A-Way contest. The sales are rolling in and there are many affiliates who are pushing to get their names into the drawing. Remember, every $5,000 in shipped sales is one entry into the drawing, so let’s get cranking!

I am also excited to announce that we have teamed up with Plantronics to run another contest for the month of September. I am very happy to announce that our brand-new coupon initiative is progressing along swimmingly! Because we have so many, they are creating a custom, bulk upload system just for us. That should be up and running shortly and I will send out a note when it is. Our data feed will continue to be available via SAS and also through GoldenCAN (www.goldencan.com) or DataFeedFile (www.datafeedfile.com). The links in the data feed that comes directly from our site (not via SAS) will have to be converted to SAS links. However, it will be the freshest data available.
