I would like to ask about AJAX Technology. Is AJAX Technology very important for web development or design? Is it good idea to implement AJAX for web development or design? Does it make your website more friendly, faster and efficient?

Depends what you are trying to achieve.

I have never used ajax.

In fact, basic HTML is fine for what we do. A bit of PHP will also help.

Ajax is vitally important for modern affiliate marketing. The combination of boxover.js, php and Ajax to produce mouseover image content sizes (widgets) extracting from a MySQL database to create instant product "content units" or entire web pages or even Ajax (or XAjax) and Flash combined to do exactly the same with a php back end to create video widgets again is a must.

So yes. Modern advertising techniques demand Ajax application and it is worth exploring.
