It's easy to use, VERY well supported - and the best bit is you can actually turn off the ebook if it's being distributed and resold. So if you're planning on selling ebooks for a living you don't want them being flogged off cheap on ebay or stolen and put out for free on the Internet - and with this software you can select the individual copy that's been copied and simply lock it out.

If you are writing an ebook to make money from, then you don't want other people taking that money from you!

I use Open Office which has the function to turn any document oyu create into a .pdf

It also retains the hyperlinks for you. Just Google Open Office and it should pop right up. It is Open Source software
