Default Anybody with an aStore that they're proud of?

I'm looking for more ideas on layout. I feel that mine is not optimized enough to convert.

kbldshmn, Amazon mentions 3 aStores that belong to current affiliates, or associates as they call them. Here are links to those three:

The Typepad Bookstore http://books.typepad.com/store/

NarniaWeb Marketplace http://astore.amazon.com/narniaweb-20

HDTV and Home Theater Podcast http://htguys.com/shop.php

Hey,

Is it worth to use Amazon aStore? I have never tried it so would like to know your opinions about it.

I use it as an addon to a forum and a couple of other sites but don't expect to pay the mortgage based on what you'll earn. Revenues for Amazon affiliates have fallen significantly over the past 4-5 years.

That first one surprised me with its simplicity.

I expected doing an astore would be much more complex.

I have a few A stores embedded in my sites but I haven't been doing this long enough to know if they are going to be successful or not. I have sold 11 items in my first six weeks so it sounds like I am actually ahead of the curve.

I don't have the stand alone stores like Amazon shows. I have the stores embedded within my sites. I have content all through my site which links back to my astore.

Reading the forums in the Amazon Affiliate area it seems people have much better luck with the product text links and the pictures that link to specific products etc. The only draw back of using these more successful avenues is you are stuck writing product reviews etc.

Cheers-

Kutaone
