Secrets in making $11,000 for amazon (real)

Hi folks

Just wanan share some good stuffs about Amazon Affilate. I know it is not easy to earn that amount as titled, however, I saw an video\audio presentation showing how he made it. I am sure he has made alot of efforts, failures, experience in order to achieve that so it's good to see that.

I am still on a planning process as brainstorming and it inspired me in some way so I thought I wanan share with you guys and hope that helps

Not exactly sure why gobear2000 made those comments about the links since they are allowed.

There are 3 parts. I looked at part 1 and wasn't impressed with it. I didn't expect much from part 2 or part 3.

In part 1 it shows that he is doing very badly now with Amazon and it was a while ago when he was doing well in Amazon. He had something like fourteen dollars ($14.00) for the period he showed as a recent period. There are many people who were doing great in Amazon a while back who aren't seeing those same results now due to a number of changes.

Based on part 1, I wasn't expecting much from the other two parts and when I saw them my thoughts were justified.

The story is he made money for one month mainly with the help of Google and Froogle which belongs to Google. They have now changed the name to Google Product Search. What he was doing was against their rules. He got caught and they would no longer allow him to do it.

Bottom line, he says he made $11,000 in about a month using a method that he shouldn't have been using. He got caught and the money dried up. He is now making very little with Amazon.

The thing about it is there are all types of things such as this which someone new might see and possibly be impressed or come to the wrong conclusion.

He wasn't trying to sell anything. He (Andrew) only told his story. There is a lesson in the story that this Andrew guy should have said more about. You might be able to make some good money for a while doing something that you shouldn't but when you get caught the money stops.

People can and do make money doing the right things. That is good because they can continue to make money. It is important to know the right things to do and to stick with them.

It reminds me of 2003. I made a mod_rewrite version of MrRats Amazon script and made $7,493.23.

BUT, I also did a MAJOR no-no. I put the mod_rewrite version on the internet for any one to use free. Ack!!! A lot lore competition, and as soon as Google did it's next update, earnings crashed. If you ever discover a nice money maker....think of it as a trade secret!!!! So far this year, I've made $42.24 from Amazon! *gags*

Agreed - Posting affiliate products in Googlebase / Froogle is a serious no-no. Google won't even allow you to post tangible products that you drop-ship. They consider drop-shipping a form of affiliate marketing. I don't happen to agree for a number of reasons (you actually *do* customer service, you collect money, etc), but Google didn't accept my arguments.

HOWEVER, this is all beside the main point. It *is* possible to make money with Amazon Associates. I think it is just harder than people think.
