Sorry I don't work with Amazon links, only went into the interface once to make a sample Astore to blog about a long time ago. There should be help files.

I've been with Amazon since right after they started. Probably the only reason I stick with them is because I've been with them so long.

Amazon has a lot codes available where you just place them and they are automatically updated. That saves a lot of trouble.

If you are trying to do what I think you are, you just paste the Amazon code on your page where you want it to appear.

I think we're a little in the dark.

You said graphic so is it a banner you are trying to add to your page?
What software are you using to build your page?

Do you know how to build pages and add html links and banners?
Trying to determine if your problem is link structure with Amazon
or just not knowing how to add an html link.

Do you have any traffic yet? If not it would not hurt to publish
and see if it shows.

Sorry to ask so many questions but we really can't help unless we know more.

bfc5084, Linda raised some very good points.

I assume you used the Amazon "Build Links", selected what type of links you wanted from the 9 choices, then completed the other steps to select your code. There are additional steps before selecting your code with the exception of Product Previews and Search Box Links.

When I am add a new Amazon code to a page I am able to preview and see if it is on the page and looks the way I want, so it can be done without publishing the page. But I am positive the two of us aren't using the same type software.

You can publish and make a quick test. Just add the code to a page, publish the page (FTP) and take a look. Then you can remove the code and publish the page again to return it to the way it was.

However giving us additional information would be helpful.

I was wondering if that's where you were stuck, at the very beginning basics.
Are you trying to post a text link or a banner?
Well maybe it doesnt matter.

Here, I found the directions over at Yahoo.
