What I never fully understood about article marketing is this:

I submit an original article to umpteen article submission sites. "X" number of people use that article.

Then isn't that article going to be pegged as duplicate content? Even if I submitted a fresh, unpublished article to any given submission site, once people start using it, wont' it start appearing as duplicate content? What am I missing here?? Tx!

no. your article can be indexed and used many times - don't worry about duplicate content with articles

Tip: Try to use the latest keywords for Article titles. Do some research on Zeitgeist or whatever research avenue you usually use, to find out if people are searching for new and unique terms related to your niche.

Sometimes if you use keywords that havnt been used in article titles you have a good chance of getting your article ranked on search engines.
