This Friday will be the last day of August. There have been a number of very good posts in this thread during this month. On Friday I will select some of the best for you to see again, or see for the first time if you may have missed some of the posts made during this month.

I saw a couple of commercials this morning which were using old rock n roll songs as part of the commercials. There have been a large number of commercials doing that the past few years.

You movie fans might have also noticed some old rock n roll songs being featured in movies the past few years as well.

This weekend will be a holiday weekend in the United States. It will be the Labor Day weekend, with Labor Day being celebrated on Monday, September 3, 2007.

Because of the interest and growing popularity of old rock n roll music, I decided to do something a little different in this thread over the Labor Day weekend. Therefore Saturday, Sunday and Monday will be a "Classic Rock 'n' Roll Weekend" featuring some of the best music from the golden era of "rock n roll."

You won't believe this video. There are times when a person shouldn't laugh, and this is one of them. There are English subtitles but you would still know what was going on without them. This was on live television. The host of the show was fired right after this show.

ooooh there was soooo much stuff since the last time I was here. lol I didn't have time to look at it all. Lots were funny. Loved the Richard Dawson one. I always liked him. I was gonna comment on some stuff but it took me so long to read through things I've forgotten what I was gonna say. lol

I love practical jokes. I would guess most people like practical jokes when the joke is on another person. Even police like to play practical jokes.

Police play a practical joke on a friend and maybe this one went a little too far.
