5 STAR IS THE GREATEST
When Linda Buquet started 5 Star Affiliate Marketing Forums she wanted a successful community. She had no idea it would become this successful as quickly as it has.
I have mentioned several times that I would love to see the membership reach 5,000 before the end of this year (2007). I came up with an idea and I was going to call it
March to 5,000. Members would participate in special activities, until we reached that goal of 5,000 members this year.
I later thought that it might be a good idea to not just settle for 5,000 members by the end of this year. Aim for 6,000 or 7,000. The idea would be to have as many "quality members" as possible by the end of this year.
Linda does as much as she can to try to be helpful to members. She often types while in pain due to carpal tunnel. She has even mentioned that she sometimes types with her feet. I really don't understand how that is done.
I know she wants to have many more quality members. She doesn't want the type of members that are often attracted by membership drives with a contest to see who can get the most people to join. They often attract spammers and people who will only post one time.
This is a very helpful community and it is a very friendly community. I felt if something could be done to get members to know each other better and to have a little more fun, members might want to do as much as they can to help get more quality members to join. Having more members will help make 5 Star Affiliate Marketing Forums even better.
The purpose of this thread is to help 5 Star members get to know each other better and to have some fun. There will be humor, fun contests with no prizes, entertainment, games and much more. It might take a few days for you to get a good idea about all that will be done in this special thread.
Something different will be happening in this thread everyday. I hope you will make it a point to check this thread on a daily basis and to participate in it as often as you can while we see how many members we can get by the end of this year.
This will be a long march. I hope you will enjoy it. I know all of you like 5 Star and want it to be even better than it already is.

Brings back some nice memories. Don't remember when exactly this aired but my Mom (bein the worry wart that she was) would wait up for me on my date nights a lot. (This was when I was pretty young.) Remeber quite often the two of us staying up some to watch tv. Not sure which came on first but my Dad used to be pretty strict and didn't let some tv shows on. (He'd be asleep by then) Her and I would then watch the show SOAP and we'd watch Johnny Carson. The animal shows with this guy and the woman I believe was from the San Diego zoo were always our favorites.
