Need Some Help with CJ Affiliate Links. .

Hi there everyone!

Ive been into blogging for 6 months and after reaching my goals (Yes, ive made some money from blogging ), I think i can get my hands wet on affiliate marketing. And so I did just this week using wordpress. (Its hard! Really!)

But i have questions about my affiliate links on CJ

Text links from them would normally look like this:

<.a href.=."http://www.jdoqocy.com/click-1234567890-0987654" target="_blank" onmouseover="window.status='http://www.merchant.com';return true;" onmouseout="window.status=' ';return true;".>Merchant Product<./a.>
<..img src.="http://www.tqlkg.com/image-1234567-12345678" width="1" height="1" border="0"/.>

Im confused whether to include the whole thing or can i use just this one.

<.a .href.=."http://www.jdoqocy.com/click-1234567890-0987654" .target="_blank" onmouseover="window.status='http://www.merchant.com';return true;" onmouseout="window.status=' ';return true;".>Merchant Product<./.a>

and also, i wanted to have a "call to action button" like the "CLICK HERE TO BUY NOW" button.

Which link should i use? Can i use just any links?

Contact the Merchant manager at CJ for specific help. You should not modify any code without their approval.

If it is a normal affiliate link, then you could edit easily. But here in this case, you should ask the permission of the concerned merchant.

Also, the 1x1 pixel image is what tracks your specific link.

To be absolutely sure you will get credit for the sale, I would leave it as is, with the exception of changing the link text if you wish.

Like the above advice, you HAVE to get permission from the merchant. Most work hard on creating links with creative copy or a call to action in their own message. However, if the message or copy on the link is not sufficient in your eyes, then get permission to change it.
