Hi rocksolid123,

Affiliate Networks are like cars - they all have their pros and cons, the best one pretty much depends on the person's needs and everyone has their own favorite.

To a large degree the network to go with depends on which one has the type of merchants or offers you need. Most pro affiliates partner with the top 3 or 4 networks. I think n00bs should stick to 1 or 2. 2 others to consider:

Lots of affiliates seem to prefer Shareasale due to their integrity and I like that network a lot. However they don't have hardly any of the big brands and cater more to smaller merchants, so depending on what you need, there is a chance it won't be available on this network.

Google Affiliate Network
, which used to be Doubleclick Performics is growing in popularity and has a lot of the major brands and hundreds of merchants in different niches the network is also a 5 Star program.

Hi rocksolid123:

Linda's right on. I use CJ, Linkshare, Shareasale, Google/Performics and a variety of other sites that offer their own affiliate programs ie; Zionsville Candles etc. The first four that I mentioned consistently provide income. Getting some of the top merchants to accept me took some time. I kept getting turned down until I started generating revenue from other merchants and when I re-applied I was accepted. If you are working the European Market then there 3 or 4 companies that have UK andEu merchants to publish. Trade Doubler, Affiliate Window, Zanox to mention a few.
Good luck and Happy Holiday$$$$

We started out with CJ.com and had no issues. I will probably start to promote a few more of their products next quarter.

I think CJ has a huge number of merchants, which is a big plus. I also promote for COPEAC. They are also popular.

But I find the breadth of the programs on CJ is truly outstanding. There are just more to select from CJ. That's just from personal experience.!!!

CJ is a very popular affiliate network, especially with many big companies who use them.

I used CJ for quite a while now and have no problems so far.

I like CJ b/c it tells me which companies are running low on cash...which ones have auto deposit...the history of pay outs etc. While I have yet to get ripped off by anyone, I could only imagine and i have listened to those who have gone before me to learn what to look for in a good company.

Please take anything I say witha grain of salt as I am new to the industry but I want to try and pass on my expereince since everyone has been so helpful with theirs...

I have used CJ for awhile now and have never had any problems. I actually like to use them because I have used many others who are pretty shady when it comes down to it. Affiliate industry is pretty unregulated for the most part so you have to do a lot of research to figure out who pays out everytime and doesn't scrub leads and give chargebacks heavy.
