Default Has this just happened to you? It did to me.

Today i just got an email from C.J and it stated that i had been suspended from being affiliated with a certain advertiser because that advertiser hadn't renewed their membership with C.J. to be truly sincere, this was a huge blow to me as i had already had campaigns and was making quite an amazing progress. For once i was making progress with C.J. That's a low blow. I don't think i can forgive C.J for that. It sucks.

I just joined Commission Junction and have their merchant ads all over my website. If that happens to me, it will be a big blow to me too because I will have to remove all those ads and it will be difficult because I have ads from other affiliate companies.

Thanks,

Hector

Unfortunately that is just the way things are with the current economy. The same thing happened to me on other networks. Businesses are cutting excess spending where they can. Questionably they often try to cut marketing expenses at a time they need it most. You should check with that company to see if they pop up on another affiliate network instead. I think cj may be pricey for merchants.

I have to agree with keyword search. I became an affiliate with CJ about 10 years ago and I've had so many merchants leave over those years I could not remember. The worst part, though, is when they leave and you don't get paid. Unlike Shareasale network that requires you to have funds on hand to pay your affiliates, CJ allows sales to occur even when they don't have complete funds from the merchant to cover them.

But, overall they have a good network. Don't get me wrong.

I agree with keywordresearch, the current economy is taking a toll.

Shouldn't the OP check with the merchant to see if they have a) moved to another affiliate network AND b) see if they have taken the program inside AND c) might be willing to work something out with this specific affiliate?

Just a newbie - but am I totally off base thinking this is a possible solution?

No Jay, you aren't off base. Contacting the merchant should be one of the 1st things you try to do in a situation like this. Especially if it's a merchant you are earning from.

Default wow, well listen to me.

Well i use to use commission junction but i easily got confused. And i never made any money after using it fr six months. But i did look up to make my own affiliate or try a good one. And i found one that even works better. It also works more efficient. it is legit home reviews.
