I am with Commission Junction as well can some send me an example of how a commission junction website looks like for example how to place the inks on the website or should it be in a blog format?

Hi Ms. Kenya,

Affiliate sites come in all varieties. Some are blogs, some look like stores with thousands of products, some are review sites, some are coupon sites, some are comparison sites and there are all kinds of other sites.

I understand your wanting to see what an affiliate site looks like but I can't post one due to confidentiality and most affiliates won't share theirs due to concerns about other people on a forum copying them or jumping into their niche and creating more competition.

Sites styles can tend to be somewhat different based on your niche market. So if you have a niche picked out Google your main keywords and try to search to find some affiliate sites to see what affiliates in that niche are doing.

But yes lots of new affiliates tend to start with blogs and that's a good way to go. The best way is with your own domain and Wordpress.

Does anyone know if it's possible to use CJ promotion within a Squidoo lens? I'm thinking probably not, but I"m not real familiar with the guidelines for CJ.

You need to read the CJ guidelines to be sure and then also the terms of service for each merchant you want to promote to be sure they don't prohibit.
