In a VERY short nutshell cuz I'm short on time today.
You join CJ. Then after approved you can search for a apply to affiliate programs that may fit your site. Then you 'join" each program. after you are approved you add links or banners to your site and CJ tracks your clicks, sales and pays you one aggregate check from all your merchants.
Sorry that's really basic, but I'm behind the gun on about 5 projects I need to finish today.

CJ is an affiliate network that connects merchants and affiliates. The great thing about CJ is that is it is a rather big affiliate Network; as a result there are many merchants which means a diverse set of products across many categories.
Once you become an affiliate within the system, you still need to apply to individual campaigns (merchants) and from their it is just like any other affiliate program.
If you go 6 months without earning a commission your account will be suspended by Commission Junction.
A person might say if you don't earn a commission in 6 months, not one cent, then Commission Junction isn't for them. But that might not always be the case. Affiliates sometimes stop concentrating on a network for a while and uses others. They might later want to start using Commission Junction but can't.
Once your account is suspended, you need to apply again using a different e-mail address. You would also need to apply to the merchants again.
Byron, I am always glad to read the comments of a happy 5 Star member.
