Commission Junction does deactivate accounts after 6 months if they weren't productive. That is their policy even though many people believe it is a bad policy and it is a mistake to deactivate accounts for that reason.
People are very successful at getting them reactivated. What is generally done is that people start a new account with Commission Junction (CJ) using a different e-mail address.

Yes, I added some sites that are through CJ to my horse site that my wife and I run... we don't make any money, but she sells local horses through the site... so I added some horse products... some of them are on CJ.. but nobody has bought anything... yet.
So, now I have to re-up I guess through another email address (I got a million of em)... it's just a pain in the arse though... I could understand them checking to make sure the site still exists or make sure the affiliate still exists ... but I think it's ridiculous to deactivate someone like that.
I've never heard of client services re-instating an account.
I've only heard what Larry already suggested - they say you have to start over
with a new account from a new email address.
Feel free to contact client services if you can and wait days for a reply if any. But I think others have said you can't even get to much less get an answer from them if you no longer have an account.

I've had an account deactivated, but just applied for a new one. The only thing I've been using Cj for is an ebay affiliate and now I receive monthly checks.
