MAN am I totally embarrassed. Read a funny story below.
Are you a CJ publisher or merchant that likes to influence change? Would you like to help mold some of Commission Junction's new products and features? If so, the
CJ Product User Group may be a great way to make a difference and ensure your voice is heard.
It was announced at CJU and I was just reading
Bob Angus' blog about it. The CJ FAQ says:
How does being a member of the Product User Group benefit me?
"You will benefit from participating in the Product User Group by having the ability to provide feedback on the network's usability and features you use directly to the Commission Junction Product Development team. You will be included in market research that may impact new offerings from Commission Junction, and you will have an opportunity to discuss your needs and preferences, which will allow us to build a better network that will in turn benefit you."
OK so here's why I'm so embarrassed:
In the original blog post I wrote: "I was just reading Bo Bang's blog about it."
The name and url of the blog is bobangus.com.
I know Bo Bang, he's a member here and I read his blog often.
When I scanned the post, I thought it was odd that he didn’t post
on his regular blog and just assumed this was his personal blog.
I read it as Bo Bang US since his name is Bo Bang it just made sense to me at the time.
So then I get an email saying:
"Thank you very much for the mention (and link) in your post regarding the CJ Product User Group. The program has really taken off since the announcement at CJU.
One minor edit for the post... my name. Your post refers to Bo Bang, which should be Bob Angus. Of course, this made for above normal heckling from my CJ co-workers."
Bob Angus is the author of the bobangus blog
AND he's the Product Manager at CJ!
Oh man am I ever embarrassed!
