The member log in has been down for at least an hour for me. Anyone else experiencing this?

stadanko, some people are having no problem while a lot are getting a 500 Server Error. So it isn't just you.

I just keep up with what is going on and I communicate with a lot of people each day and talk about a lot of things. In that process one finds out some problems people might be having. As a result of I know of some people in various parts of the world who were having no problems and other people in various parts of the world who were having problems.

Some of the people who were having problems earlier are getting in now and some aren't. But I'm only dealing with a small number of people and it was just something that came up in passing conversation. I just wanted you to know you weren't the only person having this problem today. I didn't have any problems myself any of the times I tried.

It seems to be a problem with Commission Junction servers.

I know of a few people who were having problems with LinkShare as well a little earlier today.

It may or may not have anything to do with extra holiday related traffic.

Thanks Larwee....It started working again this morning, now it's not working. Looks like someone is having a banner weekend over there!

Well, if anyone finds out what's going on over there at CJ, please let us know. I'm hoping it's caused by a massive increase of sales on my part this weekend!

Yep people are still having problems today. When I checked earlier it was down.
But yesterday when it was down for others it was up for me.

The good news is I've heard some affiliates that were able to get in say it looked like sales were good so they are assuming tracking servers werent affected.

What gets me is, doesnt a company like CJ have site monitoring and emergency tech staff always oncall so problems like this get taken care of even on weekends? A ton of affiliates are probably trying to get in and grab last minute holiday creative as well as checking stats.

I can't imagine they don't have someone on it.

And yeah...from what I've read, the actual business end (orders and money flow) are on separate servers from the web interface. So the web interface being down shouldn't necessarily strike fear in our hearts that all is lost.

I just launched a couple of potentially really high profit campaigns when this happened. Kind of discouraging not to be able to track.

Maybe if I take those campaigns down temporarily, the transaction servers won't be overloaded and the web interface will come back
