Cool Finally had a meeting with cj.

I shred my reports and tracking with them and my concerns over losing sales/leads through them. Showed them where I run about a 9-12% conversion rate with every advertiser outside CJ and well disheartening 2-4% rate through cj and they have some major players for what I offer. ( I also know that the 9-12% is unusually high according to most.)

Long story short as I presented a very strong case to CJ they said nothing more than they did not know what was happening but did see why it looked bad. They said they would check into it and let me know.

The call felt like they were under prepared. I really think they thought they could tell me that nothing was wrong and I would be like oh ok and move on. As I started presenting my evidence of faulty tracking on their end they backed into a corner with a lot of hmm, uhh well we are not sure.

I have made some moves to go direct with advertisers away from CJ and been successful at doing so (and securing higher payouts!!!!) This is still unfortunate because it leaves a bad taste and makes me weary to use them moving forward in affiliate marketing.

Any suggestions?

I have been losing sales with CJ. I've sent a lot of traffic through a site with no conversions. So I decided to test it out and actually purchased something myself and the sale has not been reported. I cleared out all of my cookies before doing so. I do not see why the sale would not be reported. alos, this was on april 6th so I think 4 days is a long enough reporting cycle. So there is a problem with cj either known or not

There can be lots of reasons a sale doesn’t track. Could be a CJ problem, a merchant problem, your firewall blocks CJ cookies, you have some type of anti-spyware program that's blocking CJ cookies.

How much traffic have you sent - how many clicks? Have you tried contacting the merchant about it?
If they have a pro-active manager they'll want to know if there is a problem.

I know it isn't a problem with my system. I checked cookies before and after and the cookie did drop.
