For cookies? Almost never.

Most of the sites I use need cookies to use them properly (this one for example).

Like Rob, I rarely clear my cookies - only if I need to test an affiliate tracking link or something.

I rely heavily on cookies for auto-logins at various forums, admin platforms, social networking sites etc.

Out of curiosity, why do you prefer to remove your cookies so often?

Also, glad to hear that the weather in Scotland is lovely today. Same here in Montreal

Mac, do you realize that if all YOUR visitors removed their cookies all the time like you do, then you would have less chance of ever making any money?

"I still run a daily program checking for cookie remover, just wondered how often you all do this."

I NEVER remove cookies. I think as an industry we should not be deleting cookies
because it can impact other people's income and what goes around, comes around.

Kinda funny when affiliates come here asking why they can't make any money and then they remove cookies - not thinking about the fact that one of the things that could be preventing them from earning, is other people deleting THEIR cookies.

We need cookies for affiliate tracking and cookies don't hurt a thing! In fact they help make your life easier like Rob and Julia mentioned. I couldn't live without cookies. When I get a new computer and have to start from scratch it's extremely time consuming for me to work because sites don't recognize me without my cookies so I have to take time to find passwords and log into all the forums, blogs and other sites I use daily.

You are free to do as you choose on your own computer. Cookies can be invasive, make assumptions, and sometimes steer you in directions on a site that you otherwise don't want to go. There is absolutely nothing wrong with routinely erasing cookies, and you should have no problems doing so. Especially, feel no responsibility to keep cookies solely for other's sakes. Again, whatever makes your computing experience best for you!
