Hi Max, the main thing to consider is what the affiliates want. Most affiliates in the start tend to trust a network if the Merchant is not know in the affiliate world.

If you want i feel the best thing to do is start both, one a network which pays less commission and a shorter cokkie lifespan and your own inhouse program with a better commission and longer cookie.

This way you actually get them to think and choose.
